ClearCut the Dallas based band is definitely different then most Rock bands you see today. They consider themselves Pop/Rock with an edge. ClearCut is the creation of JC Schuster and Mike Manning. JC has been acting, singing and dancing for 15 years and Mike has been playing guitar just as long. Having been friends for years they decided to combine their strengths and talents to do what they love most. So ClearCut began. They've been playing together for 4 years and have a great band that tours with them. The talented producer Michael Lattanzi of Zi Music West is currently producing their album in Sedona Arizona. Lattanzi has produced songs for such Artist as Jessica Simpson, Jewel, Lindsay Lohan, LL Cool J, Nick Lachey, and Ryan Cabrera to name a few.
ClearCut's hook is JC's tap dancing "stomp" rhythm with Mike's great guitar riffs and talk box. Mike and JC dual it out on stage with strong vocals, guitar and percussive feet. It's been said you can feel and see the energy in the Audience as they perform. It's a fast ride you don't want to get off! Their high energy and rock solid ballads is their key!
They both write all their songs, One single "Life of the Party was on MTV's first season of Laguna Beach. Which is now one of their two music videos already under their belt.
JC and Mike are grateful to have received great fan and industry reviews. The most said comment is they are a "MUST SEE" band.
